Dear Sewing Friends:
Well, last month I wrote about transitioning into
Spring. It’s been a long transition. We still have
lots of snow up on the bluffs where we live. My
patience is being tested. I do see tulips starting to
poke thru the ground in the front of our house where
the snow is gone. I’ve seen lots of robins, geese,
and even several bluebirds. And this week is forecast
for 60’s and even higher. Yeah!
My precious Mom will be 90 years old on April 26th.
I owe my love of sewing and fabrics to her. She always
had one or more projects going—a new dress for one
of her seven daughters, doll clothes, and after we
were raised, she started sewing for the grandkids.
Then she got into quilting and those of you who are
avid quilters know how that went—addicted!
“Sew” - try to be an inspiration in someone’s
life by sharing your love of sewing.
Happy Sewing and Happy Spring!
