Hope

Happy New Year Friends -

Wow, 2010! I wonder how long it’s going to take me to remember to write 10 instead of 09. It’s a challenge, isn’t it?

Hope” seems to be a word I’ve been thinking about this New Year. Hope for a better year than last - Hope for peace and an inner joy for myself, for others, and for our country and our world - Hope for our children and grandchildren (Diane has a new baby grandson) - Hope for those who have lost all hope, and there are many - Hope for good health - Hope to be able to change the things I can, to be able to accept the things I can’t, and wisdom to know the difference. - Hope that Spring will come soon. I have a stirring desire to work in the garden. However, till that happens, I’m busy and happy in my sewing room, getting samples for clubs and classes ready.

I hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas and start of the New Year. Enjoy the beauty of this time of year; the sun sparkling on the snow, the snowstorms that leave the trees flocked in splendor, the sight of a cardinal against the snow or the eagles.

Have fun with your sewing projects and remember, we enjoy seeing your creations.

Till next month, remain hopeful.

Romans 15:13  I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
