Hope

Happy New Year Friends -
Wow, 2010! I wonder how long it’s going to take
me to remember to write 10 instead of 09. It’s a
challenge, isn’t it?
“Hope” seems to be a word I’ve been
thinking about this New Year. Hope for a better
year than last - Hope for peace and an inner
joy for myself, for others, and for our country and
our world - Hope for our children and
grandchildren (Diane has a new baby grandson) - Hope
for those who have lost all hope, and there are
many - Hope for good health - Hope to be
able to change the things I can, to be able to accept
the things I can’t, and wisdom to know the
difference. - Hope that Spring will come soon.
I have a stirring desire to work in the garden.
However, till that happens, I’m busy and happy in my
sewing room, getting samples for clubs and classes
ready.
I hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas and start
of the New Year. Enjoy the beauty of this time of
year; the sun sparkling on the snow, the snowstorms
that leave the trees flocked in splendor, the sight of
a cardinal against the snow or the eagles.
Have fun with your sewing projects and remember, we
enjoy seeing your creations.
Till next month, remain hopeful.
